How long does it take to buy or sell a car?
If you’re selling a vehicle, we may be able to offer you a buy-now price – in which case you could walk away with cash same-day. For consignment sales or buys, we are usually able to find options within two weeks. The timeline varies depending on the vehicle you want to buy or sell, your budget, and supply/demand in the current market.
Do I have to do anything?
Nope! Just tell us about the vehicle you want to buy or sell and your budget. We’ll take care of the rest! If you do want to be more involved in the process, we’re happy to help as much or as little as you like.
Can you help me buy a new car?
Yes! The price of the same vehicle may vary by thousands of dollars from dealer to dealer. We can give you a list of buyer-friendly dealerships that will give you an honest price for a new vehicle. We can also provide “coaching” before you head into the dealership. After all, we worked at them for decades. Our goal is to make sure you end up with the car you want at a good, fair value – with no stress!
How much can I save?
We’re able to save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a buy or sell transaction.
How are you able to save me so much money?
For buys: our network of private party sellers gives us access to vehicles for sale at prices you wouldn’t usually find by searching used car dealerships, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or any other digital markets.
For sales: we know how to assess the true value of a car (almost always higher than trade-in value) and sell for what it’s worth. This is the opposite of dealerships that buy low and sell high to maximize profits. Unlike dealerships and other businesses, we care about people rather than profits!
Can you help with other car-related things? Repairs, financing, insurance?
Yes, yes, and yes. We’re here for all things car-related!
- We have connections with and can recommend many excellent repair shops for your specific vehicle.
- We can walk you through the process of applying for new financing and closing old financing. We can also recommend where to go, who to talk to, and advise on the best payment terms.
- When it comes to insurance, we can provide advice about when and when not to file an insurance claim and where to take your vehicle for repairs after an incident.
Can I just ask you a few questions?
Of course! We’re always happy to answer questions and provide advice. Our goal is to help you feel confident in any decision you make about your current or next vehicle. If all you need are answers to some questions to point you in the right direction, we’ve done our job.
Do you charge for advice or referrals?
No! We are in the business of helping YOU and building relationships. We never charge to answer your questions or refer to someone who can help you. We believe in the Golden Rule and good people helping good people.
How do you make money?
We make money through buying and selling used cars. We problem-solve with you to come up with the best solution and the best price for your specific situation. We’ll go over pricing together so you’ll know all your options and can choose which path and pricing are right for you before we get started.
